We were contacted by Danielle Spade to contribute our expertise to their music video production in the San Diego area. Right from the moment we arrived till our departure, the graciousness extended by the Stone Horse band significantly aided in our focus on the task at hand. Our team comprised of three professionals – Justin McAleece leading, ancillary support from Mauricio Tapia as the 1st AC, and Leonard McLeod serving as the grip.

Unveiling Stone Horse

Stone Horse epitomizes the rock ‘n’ roll scene in Southern California, reminiscent of the electrifying festival bands from the 1970s. Spearheaded by the charismatic vocal powerhouse, Dani Spade, who evokes the spirit of Joplin-Tyler, their live performances are truly immersive experiences.

The formation of Stone Horse dates back to the summer of 2009, when Dani Spade and Carlos Rodriguez, both alumni of La Jolla High School, pooled their profound love for music. This creative collaboration produced songs reminiscent of their 70’s British and American rock influences. This eventually led to the inception of a compelling 10-song album named “GRIT” which clinched a nomination for the “Best Rock Album” category at The San Diego Music Awards in 2014.
