Here is a  Conference Invite Video we produced for the second year in a row. We told the story of a recap video turned into an event promo video. Now lets discuss the difference between a recap video and a conference invite video. While the terms might seem interchangeable, there’s a distinct difference.

Recap Videos serve as a powerful tool to capture and showcase the highlights of an event. Typically used as a summary, they bring together standout moments, interviews, and key takeaways. These videos aim to encapsulate the overall experience, leaving the audience with a clear impression of what transpired, and are often used for marketing future events or as send-off reels.

On the other hand, a Conference Invite Video is crafted to generate excitement and anticipation prior to an event. Its primary goal is to provide potential attendees with a compelling reason to participate. This is achieved by emphasizing the event’s value propositions, such as notable speakers, unique opportunities, and key themes. The messaging is future-focused, aimed at painting a vivid picture of what attendees can expect.

Both videos play crucial roles in the event lifecycle, yet they cater to different stages in audience engagement. This conference invite video was created for SIIA’s 2024 event, following the success of last year’s project. Filmed exclusively over two and a half days, it prominently features James Kelley, and this time, photographer Jose Cerno also contributed his expertise. The stunning JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge once again provided a picturesque backdrop, beautifully capturing the event’s elegance and vibrancy. The video starts with awe-inspiring aerial and ground-level shots to introduce the scene. As the narrative unfolds, you’re led through the lively lobby straight to the bustling registration area. Beyond showcasing the essence of captivating keynote speeches and interactive breakout sessions, the video traverses through various engaging booths and exhibits. Networking extends beyond the conference, spotlighting dynamic settings like restaurants, bars, and SIIA’s exclusive patio spaces. The grand finale evening party captures the perfect mix of learning, networking, and fun, expertly portraying the vibrant spirit of SIIA 2024.

After capturing the footage, our talented post-production team skillfully crafted this exciting conference invite video. We fully embraced the creative process on this edit. We’re delighted to have collaborated on this project and look forward to more opportunities like this in the future.
