Environmentally Friendly Music Video

Welcome to a unique walk through the creation of “Sustainability,” an environmentally friendly music video that stands as a tribute to our planet, produced in partnership with the Bureau of Land Management. The aim of this video was not only to entertain but also to enlighten audiences on the importance of sustainability; an endeavor made possible by intertwining melody with message.

With a track record of over 40 music videos under our belt, this music video production journey was a refreshing divergence. Notably, while we are no strangers to working with non-musical entities– like our 2012 collaboration with advertising tech firm Blue Kai on a “Gangnam Style” parody– “Sustainability” offered us a captivating challenge with its original track and the notable participation of a government entity. The fusion of a pertinent message in a format typically reserved for entertainment certainly had the potential to reorient the way sustainability is viewed.

The czar of this campaign, Greene Street Communications, collaborated effectively with the Bureau of Land Management and managed to bring us all on board to execute this vision. Our crew, laden with expertise and grit, converged in Washington DC for the filming. The diversity of the locations we filmed, including the monumental steps of the Lincoln Memorial set against the backdrop of the Washington Monument, created an arresting visual narrative. Contributing to the success of this project are gifted students from DC schools who generously volunteered their time.

It is indeed commendable that the Bureau of Land Management, an entity committed to the conservation of public lands for present and future generations, took this distinctive approach to engage the youth. The manifestation of their intent in this video is testament to the power of innovative communication. For more details on their remarkable work, Click Here.
