Blare Video is passionate about sharing human stories, particularly those that highlight college students achieving remarkable feats and undergoing transformative journeys. When Fresno State approached us to capture the experiences of their Art students in the Edward O. Lund Foundation scholarship program, we eagerly accepted the opportunity.

Edward O. Lund Foundation scholarship winners are among the top art students at Fresno State. Named after Edward Lund, a cherished gallery curator and exhibition technician at Fresno State, the foundation offers a select group of students an all-expenses-paid trip to London. There, they study both classical and modern art. Beyond exploring galleries and exhibitions, students gain a broader perspective of the world—an experience that only a vibrant, cosmopolitan city like London can offer. Producing this foundation video was, indeed, a rewarding endeavor.

Senior Producer Joel Janecek took the helm in both producing and directing this foundation video. With Mauricio Tapia as the Director of Photography, he expertly captured the interviews and b-roll footage. Chris Lofing then brought it all together with a heartfelt and touching edit after the lighting was meticulously framed to enhance the interviews. This foundation video was showcased live at the foundation’s annual fundraiser and received an exceptionally warm response. We are incredibly proud of the final product—not only for the praise it garnered but also for how it beautifully highlighted these remarkable students and their inspiring artistic journeys.
