Hawaii Video production, what a great place to work your video production craft. We seized the opportunity to escape the mainland and embark on a remarkable journey creating a video production in Hawaii!

51Fifty symbolizes stretching beyond your comfort zone, exploring stunning landscapes, pushing your boundaries. In keeping with this ethos, we transported our commercial video production to Hawaii, unveiling all that 51Fifty embodies. Not only was this project a delightful adventure featuring some incredible talent, but it also allowed us to film what we consider truly awe-inspiring visuals. The value of a production begins with the destination and the artistic direction. We raised the bar in both these aspects for this project. We utilized the DJI Ronin along with our Red Epic Dragon camera to capture breathtaking scenes. Despite the challenge of fitting so much into a single day, we achieved a 60-second and a 30-second spot that we are immensely proud of.

Our skilled camera team consisted of Justin McAleece, Cortiny Kleidon, and a local Hawaiian grip who proved to be incredibly helpful. We’re thrilled to witness 51Fifty venture into an expansive new market, right out in Hawaii. The new flavor is irresistibly tasty (Trust us, we ended up with a case or two). We used Adobe Premiere CC 2017 and Davinci Resolve for the post-production. A significant amount of color work was necessary to achieve that perfect “pop”. But remember, if you don’t capture it correctly on camera, you won’t achieve it in post-production. The commercial concluded with a green screen shot of the can, skillfully arranged by Mauricio Tapia, and filmed back at our studio. Every detail matters, hence we had a spray bottle ready at hand for those tiny spritzes and a custom lazy susan rig for the perfect spin effect.
