The scope was indeed large, but fortunately, so was the timeline, allowing us to gather all the necessary elements. We employed several lighting techniques, with a “book light” setup being a frequent choice. For this setup, we utilized a Joker 800 aimed into a 4’x8′ ultrabounce floppy, which then passed through some LEE 250 diffusion. What’s great about this setup is how Ian McAleece, our expert gaffer, made it compact and highly movable with only two stands and minimal space.

For our aerial shots, we utilized the DJI Inspire 2 drone, which allowed us to capture stunning, highly detailed map-like visuals. Additionally, we discovered that navigating using the map on the controller was often more convenient than flying by sight. This technique enabled us to execute extended flight paths without losing our way. We able to capture everything we needed for the property developer video.
