Meet Katja Glieson: a rising artist making herself known in Los Angeles and across the globe. Known as Katja-Angelique Glieson back in her hometown, Melbourne, this Australian artist is a special character on the scene. We had an exciting time collaborating with her on the production of her pop music video, “Look at Us,” which we filmed in the vibrant San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles. And navigating her latest project? It was an equally enjoyable venture!

Dubbed “Ride the Wave,” this video production witnessed Katja and her ensemble of dancers bringing an energy like never before. This time around, we ventured away from San Fernando Valley, going farther south to shoot at Thunder Studios located in Long Beach. This was our inaugural project at this studio, and given the atmosphere, we certainly hope it won’t be our last. Creating an invigorating setting with unique lighting equipment like Lekos, Maxi-Brutes, and 10K/5Ks, the ambiance of this music video was nothing short of brilliance.

The vision behind the shoot was Adrian, who, like always, brought with him an abundance of creativity. Working alongside him were Justin McAleece managing the 6K Red ultra HD camera, with assistant Ian McAleece. Reggie Castaneda took on best boy tasks, while Zach Hunter took the grip, and Eve Morris played the role of our exceedingly competent PA. The production was a success thanks to Ben Jackson, Troy Entertainment representatives, and rising artist Katja Glieson herself – an absolute privilege to work alongside with.
